Well it’s been a few months since my last post. I know I know, you guys must have been sitting on the edge of your seats waiting to hear more relaxation wisdom from your good pal Dan! Truth is, things have been real busy around here, so every free moment has been spent on the sidelines.
Plus the missus has been on my case to “find a more productive hobby”. Hah! Like she’s one to talk, binge watching all those Netflix shows. The other day she even had the nerve to tell me she doesn’t think anyone even reads this stupid blog! Can you believe that? I told her, who cares how many clicks I get, this helps me wind down and if it somehow helps even one other poor stressed out soul, then it’s doing its job.
So I’m still gonna keep writing up these posts when I get a chance. Gotta clear my head somehow, you know? And hell, maybe some day this blog will take off and I’ll become the next Deepak Chopra or something. Probably not, but a guy can dream right?
For today’s relaxation technique, forget all those fancy lotus poses or guided meditations. Sometimes the best way to relax is just to Let Your Mind Wander. No goals, no agenda. Just pop on some tunes, stare up at the sky and let the thoughts float on by without judging them.
