Sometimes ya just gotta admit when you’re beat. Nothin’ wrong with takin’ the easy way out every once in a while. Keeping it simple in the kitchen!

If you’re feelin’ fried after a long day and the thought of cookin’ is makin’ you break out in a sweat, don’t be afraid to grab some pre-made grub. Hit up that deli down the street for a sandwich or just throw a chicken breast and some brussels sprouts on a bakin’ sheet and call it good. Even that blue box mac and cheese is better than yet another pizza delivery when you’re feelin’ drained.

The key is fuelin’ back up without bustin’ your butt in the kitchen. Nothin’ wrong with lazy meals sometimes. Is a pre-made salad from the store really that much worse than some kale choppin’ you don’t feel like doin’? Hell no. As long as you get some vitamins and protein in you, who cares if it came with a lid already on?

Your body needs fuel to unwind properly. So if cookin’ is just too much after a long day, don’t punish yourself. Throw some deli meat between some bread or chuck some frozen nuggets in the oven. You ain’t a chef, you’re a Champ! And some nights that means keepin’ it simple. Don’t be so hard on yourself – do what it takes to refuel without goin’ full gourmet. Your mental health will thank ya.
