Alright folks, listen up. We all know mornings can be pure chaos – kids screaming, traffic backups, coffee spilled all over your shirt. Before you know it you’re rushing out the door feeling more bugged out than a Dunkin run. But it doesn’t have to be that way. A good breakfast is the foundation for a chill morning, I’m telling ya.

Now I know some of y’all think you don’t have time for anything more than a Pop-Tart in the car. But hear me out – it takes just 5 more minutes to whip up something healthier that will SERIOUSLY reduce your stress levels. I’m talking eggs, maybe some toasted whole grain bread on the side. Go ahead and throw in some spinach or tomatoes too if you want extra relaxation powers. The protein and complex carbs will fuel your body AND your brain so you feel in control all morning.

And another thing – sit your butt down for those 5 minutes! I don’t care if you have to eat on the edge of the bed or on the stairs, put your phone down and just focus on chewing. Imagine all the tension melting off your shoulders with each bite. You’ll be amazed how much calmer you feel. I promise you’ll save more than 5 minutes later from not being frazzled and forgetting things!
